This is a Torres SE-114 reproduction I just finished. A collector friend, who likes to remain anonymous left his original Ex-Pujol Torres SE-115 with me to study. It is identical to Francisco Tarrega’s guitar SE-114 in respect to the shape, bracing, and dimensions. I like to think that both Tarrega’s guitar and my friends SE-115 were on Torres work bench at the same time. Detailed photos of the Torres SE-115 can be found on my blog, along with my friends other original Torres, The 1862 which is also a work in progress and will be coming out shortly. This past August the great Matt Palmer came to Santa Fe, NM to do some videos comparing the Original SE-115 with his reproduction of a SE-114 I had made him. The video is posted at the bottom of this page. The guitar available here is a faithful reproduction of the Torres SE-114, in 65 year old East Indian rosewood back and sides, 650 scale, and french polished throughout.
